Cultural competency for death doulas

As “death doulas” form into a profession, cultural competency at such a sensitive time is a critical piece of the work. In partnership with Sarit Wishnevski of Kavod v’Nichum, I wrote a piece to educate about Jewish practices around end-of-life and to recommend ways doulas can interact with, and facilitate those practices.
