Re-evaluating your career? You’re not alone

After 13 years in the affordable housing and economic development industries, I started exploring systems change in the end-of-life space. Dying in the United States can be particularly pitiful, since the healthcare system often drives towards quantity of life rather than quality of life. I believe that by transforming how we die, we transform how we live.

Over the last 4 years, I’ve been actively making an impact in the positive death movement as strategy consultant in serious illness care, aging, and advance care planning. I’ve also been serving end-of-life doula to member in my community and in local hospices and in-patient pallaitive care.

I was featured on NPR’s Marketplace in May 2021, telling the story of my growing career.
